As my friend says, "only a fool argues with an idiot"
Dogmatic is OK here are some more adjectives
fanatical, imperious, intolerant, obdurate, obstinate, overbearing, peremptory, prejudiced, biased, bigoted, contumacious, extreme, fervent, , zealous, inflexible, parochial
The people who are like that are not true Christians. You can differentiate a true Christian by his/her demeanor of love, joy, peace, patience, goodness, gentleness, meekness, temperance and faith. That is the fruit of the spirit....
see this website and the videos for a true perspective

I became acquainted with it when my father was dying of cancer. They have a 24 hour broadcast:
This is what the website says:
For over a decade we have been dedicated to drawing people into a deeper relationship with God through worship. Our signature television programming called Worship has touched millions of people’s lives..... Connecting individuals everywhere to His spirit and truth, and then to each other...
“Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks.”

They are closed minded. Unwilling to open up to any new ideas that may contradict what they believe. Usually they want everyone to believe what they believe so that then there will be a utopia of world peace. If only... But people are different and the closed minded will never get what they want.
