I have 2 cars that I'm currently looking to buy:
1. 03 Ford Focus w/ 85,000mi White, Manual in Good condition
2. 00 Toyota Corolla w/ 82,000mi Beige, Manual, Power Windows, a bit faded interiors, a crack on the windshield

Both under $5,000.

What do you think is a good deal?

From your description of the two different cars and the best
deal, I would recommend you buy the Toyota Corolla without
hesitation, because Japanese-made Toyota cars are renowned
for their reliability, economy in fuel intake, powerful and lasting engine, good safety features and easy service and maintenance.
They also give the least problem in the long run.
Don't wait any further. Buy it today!

Toyota is the better car, but with average-high miles on both, they both may need parts soon, so I too say buy the Focus. Parts are much cheaper.

I own a Ford and a Toyota, so just speaking from experience.

Toyota, of course. If taken care of, it can conceivably last to 300,000 miles. Good luck.
