No, that will not kill the lice. Go to your local pharmacy/drugstore and ask for Rid.

You need to get some lice shampoo and the nit comb. Mayonnaise also works, put it on your hair and leave it on for an hour or so and wash it out then use the nit comb. Be sure to take care of your sheets and everything else also or you will be doing your hair for nothing.

You should seriously go to a pharmacy and buy the right product for getting rid of lice. And wash all your bedding. Everyone in your household should be treated and have their bedding washed. Best of luck to you.

ya straightening your hair should kill the lice...because of the heat...so i would blow dry and straighten your hair for a few days and then you shouldn't have a problem with lice because all that heat will kill them...but only if you follow the other proper precautions like vacuuming and waching all you bedding and pillows...

Um, no. Just go and buy the shampoo. This is easier and it only takes a little while to get rid of lice. They live on your scalp so you'd have to burn your scalp off to kill them.

It would kill most of them, but do a lot of damage to your hair, especially if you have to do it again (as you might). Use the stuff from the drug store, or cover your hair and scalp completely in oil, let it sit for an hour, wrapped in plastic wrap spread right over it so there's no air, then wash, wash, wash, your hair and everything it's touched.

no. you absolutely HAVE to get a nit removing comb and get EVERY single nit or the lice will keep hatching no matter how dead the adults are anyhow. saturate the hair in mayo and wrap it in saran wrap over night. then wash as usual and use the comb. good luck. it's such a pain.

No, you must remove the lice by using RID. Nothing else will work. Make sure you clean EVERYTHING in your house as well or you'll get it again!

Darlin, lice don't give a damn if your curly or straight. But to be honest, you probably will kill the little critters .but there are a couple of good lice removal systems out there, please don't add insult to total rearangement of the natural structure of your hair

Straightening your hair wont help, because the straightening iron doesnt get close up to your roots, and not for long enought at a time anyway, i would think. Your scalp is where they live and breed. Buy Kwellada or another commercial product.
