Please don't take it upon yourself to tell her the other guy doesn't like her in that way.
If she is interested in this other guy, let her find out for herself that he does not share her feelings. He should be the one to communicate this news--not you.
I know you probably just want to spare her "feelings," however, she is not going to see it that way. I am sure she will think you have an agenda of some sort.

Things change and people change their minds. Sometimes I think that I have tried to control life too much and when I've tried the hardest to make everyone do and say and feel what I want them to - the worse it is. I wonder if you sit back and let your girlfriend do what she wants, well - what if she needs to learn from being turned down by the guy and that it makes her stronger? I've tried to protect alot of people that I love and I have taken away experiences that they needed to go thru. Just some food for thought.

YES !!! You would want the same. If you can spare your friend embarrassment and pain, then yesssssssssssssssssss do it !! And tell her that is the reason you are speaking up. Tell her you do not wish for her to be embarrassed because you care about her. If she acts mad, forgive her... she may be upset of his lack of feelings. But she will thank you later! Cover her back ,,,,that's what friends are for !!

You should stay out of it. I realize she's your friend and all, and you don't want her to be hurt any more than what she is, but you shouldn't get in the middle of it. What if the new guy she likes decides that he does like her after all but it's to late because you got in the middle of it?

I believe that she will just think that u like the guy for your self. You don't need to hurt her feelings. Which if you tell her you know its gonna happen. just say that another guy would be a better choice.

Let her go ahead and ask him, and let her deal with it. If you tell her about him, she'll just get angry at YOU. Part of living is learning to roll with the punches. Let her handle her business, but be there to support her.

To me this is not any of your business. He may have told you that he doesn't want to go out with her but in actuality, he may want to go out with her. People do change their minds about stuff. You wouldn't happen to be jealous would you?
Get your face out of her business and go and find your own ASAP!!!

thats a tough one !! i would try to get her attention off him first... try to set her up with some one else so she can forget about the other guy.. if that dont work gently tell her he dont deserve her that she can do much better.
