The 3+ electrochemical valence of iron (4 energy levels, 3 low population)has properties well suited for the transport of oxygen. Gold on the other hand does not combine readily with oxygen. Since Zinc is used in DNA replication indirectly I suppose you meant this and not iron. The 2+ character of Zn(four energy levels, 2 low population) and the 2+ character of gold (six energy levels fully populated) have similar electrocharges but the atomic weight and size allow gold not to share its electrons, hence the stability. This lack of availability of electrons makes gold useless for DNA replication.

You would NOT find time to age older! You would die in several weeks!
Iron has a magnetic specification but gold has not! and this is vital for body. Golr has a chemical stable structure that it can never combines to another element, but iron has no stable structure, so it is used in the body to carry something in our blood!

I'm sure not. South east Asians use it in their cooking as gold-leaf and they certainly don't age any slower than other people do. I think a lot of aging has to do with exposure to the sun, not eating healthy and getting dehydrated by drinking things like caffeinated beverages...instead of water and thinking that you're okay.

You cant do that.. Iron is used in the blood system. You need iron to bond with oxygen. Gold wont.

I don't think so. One of the many theories of aging is the breakdown in the ability to make accurate replications of DNA in cell division because of the wear-down of these little end-caps on DNA called telomeres. Maybe if they were more sturdy or longer, then we'd last longer. Check out stories about resveratrol.

Funnily enough, there is such a thing as gold injections. I forget the condition that it is supposed to treat - arthritis or something - very expensive of course.
