Read on the package. All that information is on the back of every product you buy at the store.

In a 1500 calorie a day diet, which is a good one if you are trying to lose weight, you should check the contents of the calories, fat grams, protein, fiber, carbohydrates & sodium. It sounds tough at first, but it's not hard. It gives you something to do while you're dieting and actually makes it better for you.

You should have 5 meals a day, spaced out 3 hours apart and each meal should contain about:

calories: 300
fat grams: 3
protein: 8
fiber: depends on your physical needs
carbohydrates: 30
sodium: depends on your state of health

The reason for eating 5 meals a day is that it boosts your metabolism so you can lose weight faster. :)

Good luck!

Lentil soup...

Was it made with bacon, bacon grease, ham hocks or smoked turkey wings?

What else is in it? Meats, vegetables, barley, rice....

1 bowl can have more calories than a cheeseburger from McDonalds, depending on what's in it.

Give us more information if you want a good answer.

It depends on how large your bowl is...

One cup of lentil soup accounts for 139 calories.
