They think that it's just like prom, and poeple get hurt and its disgusting or something. I can tell that my dad can trust me, but my mom is just TOO worried. Well, my parents are really strict. And they said that it will cost too much money...which I know that if we save then it probably won't be a problem. How should I convince them???

Thanks for that, but one of the main problems also is about the whole money part. I don't want them to worry about it either! Ahh this is so giving me a headache!

Yeah I'll try that too. But the thing is, we're kinda tight on money. =(

See if your parents or at least one of them can be a chaperon. I did that for my kids when I wasn't too sure how an event might turn out. I was cool enough to leave my kids alone and let them enjoy themselves. Just watched the overall action and visited with the other chaperons.
As for money - rake leaves, walk dogs.etc... don't know how much time you have, but you could put up posters and offer this kind of service. Also our kids had yard sales to raise money.
