It could be a sinus headache. When I get those nothing stops the pain but sinus medicine. Try Tylenol sinus if it doesn't help in a couple of hours make a doctor appointment. Never take medical advice to serious from us. Just because we read doesn't mean we have a medical degree. Your health is something that will come back in later years to haunt you if you don't take care of it now. Good luck those headaches are the pits.

I am a long time headache/migraine sufferer. Anytime, I see a doctor, the first thing they ask is whether there is an unusual pattern or sudden onset of headaches. What you have is that, and it is worrisome because you never had headaches before. Please go see a doctor, especially because of the location of your headaches. I am not a doctor so I will not speculate. It could be a variety of things, from mild to serious. Do not accept an answer like keep taking pain killers. Go to someone else if that's what they tell you. If you can afford it, go to a neurologist right away. Taking pain killers repeatedly and day after day causes rebound headaches, and then you don't know anymore what came first, the chicken or the egg. Easier said than done, I know, which is why I say get to your doctor right away. In the meantime, try either a cold towel around your temples, or taking hot showers long enough for the steam to relieve you a bit. Good luck!

Sinus headaches are constant and relieved by anacin or any asprin/caffine product. When I get a constant headache that is not relieved with pain meds, it is usually due to misalignment in my back/neck and when I got to a chiropractor, it usually makes me headache worse that day and then it's gone the next. Within the first day or two of a chronic headache, if you take 3 ibuprofin's and it works, it is usually misalignment. that stops working after a couple of days though so you need to get in to the chiropractor. It can go away on it's own, but usually takes a week or two. Good luck, hope this helps

Have you been to an eye doctor? I had really bad headaches in the same area of my head a few months ago and found out that I needed eyeglasses. Just a low strength prescription has helped me so much!

Here are two common things to consider. 1) Staring at a computer monitor that is too bright, and flickers. Lower the brightness and increase the refresh rate. Also, i heard often people get eye strain from lower quality LCD monitors. Alternatively, are you reading a book with small print or low light conditions? 2) Diet. Are you eating differently lately? Maybe too much salt or monosodium glutamate? Maybe you are dehydrated. Drink lots of water it is good for you.

Go see a chiropractor. Most headaches and migraines are cervicogenic in nature, and can be resolved quickly with chiropractic care.
