Excel, How do I remove my name when I enter a comment in a cell?

I want to send someone an Excel project, but I do not want them to see my last name. (Sending the project to someone I met online). Is there a way for me to remove my last name?

As suggested, you can edit the comment. However, if you have a lot of comments and you want it to come up only with your first name every time, you can change it in Options:

Go to Tools, Options, General, User name. Put in the name you want and then when you insert comments, it uses what you put there as the default.

It is completely editable - just select it using your mouse and left key, as you would select any other text.
