Fifth's Disease has been referred to as slapped face syndrome because it looks like your face has been slapped. It is a rash seen in children. It usually starts on the face and spreads to arms and legs. Looks like a red lace rash. It can be harmful to a pregnant woman's unborn child.

A virus infection can cause what looks like "slapped cheeks" and is also called Fifth's disease. this is often making the rounds at daycare centers and elementary schools.

It is similar to an ailment I suffer from called "Slapped bottom syndrome" basically my bottom is so naughty it constantly needs to be slapped....with a red, warm glow.
