I found that taking Magnesium pills (400mg) once a day has releived me of the creepy crawlies for at least 2 years. I don't miss a day without taking the magnesium. At one time I had RLS at least 4 to 5 times a week. With the magnesium pills, I don't have to take prescription pills.

i have restless leg syndrome and nocturnal myoclonus. i take 1200 mg of neurontin every day. 300 mg morning, 300 mg lunchtime, and 600 mg at least 2 hours before bedtime. you need to take it at least 2 hours before going to bed for it to work as you fall asleep. i haven't tried requip, but you could read up on it too.

I gave my mother a good vitimin mineral complex and SOMETHING in it cured her. get a hand held massager and massage your legs, study up on reflexoligy, were you rub certain places to help that, I can t tell you like this exactly where, ,hot water to relax your muscles, valerian root is a natural relaxant, good luck. some drugs cause this, change your medication if advisable,

This is going to sound kinda strange, but when that happens to me while I'm lyingin bed I change my body position to where my head is at the foot of the bed and my legs are where my head usually is. I swear this works...for me at least!! Try it!!

Tonic water it calms the legs drink a glass before bed.

Kick off the bedclothes, and "cycle" your legs in the air for a few minutes. This always works for me.

point your toes to the cieling, gently stroke your legs towards your buttocks. then scratch, as they will reqier this, then strock the sides of your legs also in an upwards position, and then sctatch. then the inner thighs. then scratch, gently, then, lay flat, relax. Wait, and then turn over and go to sleep.

id just dance or kick someone, that or go for a nightly jog or walk, i get that too, you can run in place for a few minutes, that always works for me when i used to have it. i think they have pills for that, but i dont know whare to get em
