Drinks are kinda expensive, like $4.50 to $5.50. But you can get a lower price if you ask thhem for it in a plain glass instead of the fancy souvenier glasses. The Cozumel stop is at a town where there is some shopping, primarily jewelry and leather. There's not much on the island to see so don't pay to take a tour. The best thing to do on Cozumel is go to the beach for scuba or snorkle. Or, if they offer it, take a tour to Cancun and go to Excarat, Teleum, or Chichenitza.

In Grand Cayman there is a nice small town when you get off the ship. (it has a good cheap internet cafe right at the dock), Buy some Tortuga Rum Cake for sure. Go to the Seven Mile beach. The town has a few shops and restaurants but not much else to see.

Jamaica depends on which port. If you stop in Ocho Rois, go to Dunn's River Falls. Its great. Wear your swim wear and have fun climbing the falls. Past the port security a few blocks into town there is a market where the locals will try to sell you everything you never wanted.

i have been on eight carnival cruises. alcoholic drinks run anywhere from $4.00 to $6.50 and that includes the tip. if you are talking about soft drinks, it seems like they were around $2.00 for a 20oz bottle. never been to jamaica, so i can't help you there. cozumel has a strip mall and lots of other little shops within walking distance. there is also fat tuesday's(which is a bar). in grand cayman, you will be tendered to the island. there are alot of shops and you can take a taxi to tour the island on your on without going thru the ship's excursions. hope this helps. happy sailing!!!

The answers you got are about right however before you board the ship or you can do it with a credit card from home everyone has on onboard account that you put in as much as you want and they will give you a break down at the end of your cruise. There are no tips involved unless you want to as every is charged $10.00 aday for tips which comes out of your account. Read the brouchure and it will explain it all. Enjoy.

I've been on two Carnival cruises! They are great and affordable. You can buy an unlimited Fount card while on the cruise, for 20-30 dollars. But if you buy a drink individually (Pop) It may cost you about $1.25. The Fountain Card is definately worth it. Alchaholic drinks, on the other hand, may cost you $6.00 a drink, really depends on what kind of Alchaholic drink you get. On the shore excursions, you should go to the Beaches, they are all great, I've been on all of them.

When I took a Carnival cruise, I stood in line and paid $200.00 (like everyone else) and got a "carnival credit card." So instead of carrying cash on the ship, I just showed them my card. At the end of the cruise, they slipped my bar tab below my door and asked me to pay the difference, or had instructions on how to get a credit.

When you go ashore, take as little cash as you think you will need in a safe and secure place. Have fun!
