First of all, does he have a fever? If so, I'd take him to an MD pronto. If he is basically back to himself, I would guess he was constipated. I'd keep track of his bowel movements and diet for a few days, and if you think he is still straining and constipated, have him checked out. Most kids get this from time to time so don't panic. As long as there is no blood, diarrhea, or vomiting (for more than 1 episode), you can treat him at home, of course if it is OK with his MD. Diluted apple, white grape or pear juice is a nice easy way to get the fluids up. I'd warm it up a little bit too. Increase the fibre as well with oatmeal and other cereals. Too much milk can make them constipated as well. There are some over the counter remedies that your MD can offer as well. Good Luck with the little guy!!

He might have been dehydrated. If he eats fruit regularly, I imagine he has normal bowel movements and doesn't strain over them. If he was dehydrated it could have been painful for him as the dry poop pellets moved through his system. The tummy ache could have caused a bad dream which woke him up and then the tummy ache took over. If it happens again, try to give him some water or clear juice like apple juice. If he won't take that, try gas drops. If this becomes a reoccuring problem you should probably take him to the doctor. Hopefully it's a one time thing, just a bad tummy ache.

Did you just recently take him off formula and put him on cow's milk? Cow's milk makes harder stools and is harder to digest. He was constipated. It's painful. He may have a stomach bug, which would make him throw up. Keep an eye on him, and if he continues to act like he's in pain, or can't keep anything down, or runs a temp, take him to the pediatrician. You can try some of that baby prune juice to help him poop.

It may be gas, or it may be something totally unrelated to what he ate. At his age can he point or show you where is hurting him? He may not be able to verbally express it but look for signs like if he is holding his stomach or seemingly trying to stool with no release. If it persists then you should seek advice from a pediatrician. The fact that he finally calmed down and went to sleep may mean whatever was ailing him has passed.

Whelp my first guess would have been to have his ears checked.. Ear infections make our children goofy as all get up ;)

Pooping hard rabbit poohs means he's constipated.. I'd cut back on the milk and give some juice for a day or two.. But I think you really need to get a hold of your ped and have your son checked out.. Get the ears looked at...

Good Luck!

Important issues, such as these, concerning little children should always be discussed with their pediatrician, not strangers on the Internet. Babies are too precious and fragile. Never feel that your child's issues are not important enough to contact his doctor. That's what MDs get paid for.

If that's adversarial to God's will then both Daniel and Joseph are going to hell for it. No, there is no longer something incorrect with wondering about what your aims advise. in view that aims in worry-free words communicate about what's happening on your sub/subconscious, and do not quite are expecting the destiny, the biblical injunctions adversarial to fortune telling do not note to dream interpretation. quite, in worry-free words the fellow who's having the dream can figure out if and what it potential something..
