Just, don't lend them again.

Revenge is a harsh term here. Is this the first time or second and ongoing. PRAY about it to God, and ask God to change their heart!

First of all, DONT lend them any more $.

If you asked nicely and hinted at it, and they still don't want to pay up. I would say drop it.

Now are you talking more $$, like over $400, well than court, but did you sign an agreement that they would pay you back.

$$ Lending to friends in the future is cause for pain and breakups, it wreaks havoc on people. Just don't lend to anyone in the future.

The Bible has a good answer for this in Mathew 16. It states that if you have any kind of disagreement you should first go directly to that person and confront them with the issue -- in your case the money that is owed. Explain to them what you are doing and why -- that you want the money owed you. Also explain what you next steps will be so there is nothing hidden from them about how you are going to get this resolved.

If that doesn't get a result, you should explain this issue to another person (preferably someone who is meaningful to that person like a close mutual friend or relative of theirs) and together go to the person who owes you and have both of you explain why they should repay you the amount owed.

If that doesn';t work you should get a group of people -- who are part of that persons "community" -- like a group of friends and her family and confront that person among you all.

I think you'll get this resolved before going to that amount of work.

Good question -- and good luck.

There is never a good time for revenge.....just look at it as a lesson learned and do not lend money over the amount that you need to have paid back....and if you do loan money, do it with the intentions that you will never see it again....consider it a blessing if you do get paid back.

if revenge is what you want then do this call there family and explain how he or she borrowed this money and since you can't afford some bill now if you can borrow the money from them , the killer is now there family knows what they did and will hound them for there bad behavior lol kinda cruel , and yes if it a small amount let it go but on the other hand betrayal has it price too

Invite them out to lunch. Wear a light jacket or something over a special teeshirt you would have made. Take your time looking at the menu. At some point, take off the light jacket, underneath is your special teeshirt that you've made with fabric paint and this message: (their name) doesn't pay back loans. Then get up and leave them at the table looking like an idiot.

Revenge is not worth it. Ever hear of kharma? Did you ask for your money back? Just let it go. Be the better person. It is just money. Unless we're talking a huge amount. Then take them to Judge Judy. :)

Let it go - it takes too much energy to hate someone enough to plot revenge. Demonstrate the right way - turn the other cheek.

One of my (ex)buddies borrowed $40 dollars once and wouldn't pay it back for weeks, (though he had enough money to take his girl friend out every night) Well, one day when I was hanging out with him, I noticed his gf's class ring on a gold chain on his dresser. (She had given it to him to show her undying love for him...HAHA. ) I casually put it in my pocket & took it to the pawn shop and got $50 bucks for it. The next day when he didn't have it on, his gf got furious. He was freaking out and questioned me about it. I told him where he could find it...for $119.95 (mark up is killer at pawn shops). I did give him the $10 profit I made for his down payment.

BE A BIGGER PERSON THAN THE ONE THAT WON'T PAY YOU BACK. REVENGE IS IMATURE AND POINTLESS., YOU ONLY HURT YOURSELF.
CHALK IT UP TO A POSITIVE EXPERIENCE IN LIFE, BECAUSE HOPEFULLY YOU LEARN NOT TO LOAN MONEY.

Nag them as often as you can. Send X-mas cards every year asking for it. Send them fake bills. Call them everyday at different times. Finally hopefully they will pay you back,.
