on microsoft word, execl, powerpoint, etc..............
it keeps saying that it needs 2 end the program when i first open it
how can i stop that

Watch out for virus from MS outlook.
Scan your computer (C: Drive) with Norton or McAfee Anti-Virus using the latest virus definition file. Usually it would take 30 minutes for 80GB.
Otherwise, reinstall the MS Office XP.

that might be virus, the virus has changed the application code, now
it crashes all the time, you can either reinstall the software, install a good anti viius (suggest kaspersky software), or both, keep in mind that reinstalling the software may solve the problem but temporarily if you still have virus in your computer

If you have the installation CD, run the install program, and there should be a repair option.
