Please read my words carefully:
If you see footmark in the sand, you'll say that someone passed from here...
If you see a piece of dog sh*t on the ground, you'll say that a dog passed from here...
So what about the enormous universe, the sky, stars, planets, earth and all the beauty in it, doesn't it lead to that someone made it?!!!

Some people say that everything is created by itself after the big-bang... I won't ask you about what caused the big-bang, but I'll ask you a simple question:
If you take all the letters of the alphabet, multiples of them, and you threw them randomly on the floor. Do you expect (by a chance of one in infinity) to get a poem like shakespear's??!!

Can't you see how organized our universe is, the planets, the eco-system on earth, look even in your own body... Can you control your heart-beat? Can you control your breath while you're sleeping? Who stopped your eye-lashes from growing after reaching a certain length? Who told the baby turtles to move towards the sea and not to the earth after they come out of their eggs? Who taught the bird how to make nests?

My friend, think with your heart and brain. If you're still lost, think about the following:

Do you know how to play safe?
Your point:
If there's no God and you do all what you want in life, then nothing will happen to you after life. But if there was God and you were mistaken, then you'll blame yourself FOREVER...

Believer's point:
If there's God and I followed His commands in life, then I'll be in Heaven after life FOREVER. But if there was no God and we're mistaken, then nothing bad will happen to us after life...

Now you know how to play-safe, in case you're not convinced?

The more I study the universe and other things in science, the more I understand that all of this could not have happened by chance. I know that if the mass of a proton was different, the entire universe could not exist. I know that if the matter-antimatter percentages in the universe had been equal that there would be nothing but energy as a result. If you stop to consider the miracle that life exists at all in any form you will understand that there is no way for science to explain how that "spark" of life came to be.

I know that when I pray for someone that miracles can happen. A person can recover from a serious injury or illness which was supposed to kill them. I know the peace I feel inside my heart and soul from having my faith in God and not letting anything come between myself and my God.

I believe in God because I really have nothing else to believe in. I love the feeling of knowing that he is always there for me when I need him. I don't have many friends or a great family but I know no matter what I do God will be there. He loves me and everyone else on this Earth and it is the best feeling ever to know that.

You don't have to believe in God, and I am sorry that people judge you for not. Just don't let them get to you. Believe in what you want and just be yourself.

I have several family members that passed on and I started going to church to find answers. After reading the bible, praying and going to small groups. I feel the Holy Spirt has changed my life in so many positive ways. I do believe these things would not of been possible without believing. I was suicidal for several years. Eveyday having these horrible ideas in my head and fighting them with everything that I had. One day after continous prayer with others and daily reading, I actually felt the depression lift. This was 4 months ago and I havent felt it again.
I believe god can help us with everything. In the bible it just tells us to believe. I have and I am a lot happier.

I was an atheist at one time. And like most atheists, the issue of people believing in God bothered me greatly. What is it about atheists that we would spend so much time, attention, and energy refuting something that we don't believe even exists?! What causes us to do that? When I was an atheist, I attributed my intentions as caring for those poor, disillusioned people...to help them realize their hope was completely ill-founded. To be honest, I also had another motive. As I challenged those who believed in God, I was deeply curious to see if they could convince me otherwise. Part of my quest was to become free from the question of God. If I could conclusively prove to believers that they were wrong, then the issue is off the table, and I would be free to go about my life.

I didn't realize that the reason the topic of God weighed so heavily on my mind, was because God was pressing the issue. I have come to find out that God wants to be known. He created us with the intention that we would know him. He has surrounded us with evidence of himself and he keeps the question of his existence squarely before us. It was as if I couldn't escape thinking about the possibility of God. In fact, the day I chose to acknowledge God's existence, my prayer began with, "Ok, you win..." It might be that the underlying reason atheists are bothered by people believing in God is because God is actively pursuing them.

I am not the only one who has experienced this. Malcolm Muggeridge, socialist and philosophical author, wrote, "I had a notion that somehow, besides questing, I was being pursued." C.S. Lewis said he remembered, "...night after night, feeling whenever my mind lifted even for a second from my work, the steady, unrelenting approach of Him whom I so earnestly desired not to meet. I gave in, and admitted that God was God, and knelt and prayed: perhaps, that night, the most dejected and reluctant convert in all of England."

Lewis went on to write a book titled, "Surprised by Joy" as a result of knowing God. I too had no expectations other than rightfully admitting God's existence. Yet over the following several months, I became amazed by his love for me.

Because not only humans, but animals, plants, mountains, nature....everything is made so intricately and it's so magnificant that someone had to have the power and knowledge to do it. It couldn't just happen. Even if it did just "happen" someone had to keep order and structure so it wouldn't turn out to be a disaster. It's rather very simple but complex to think about. We can't understand everything about God because his knowledge exceeds the brain that he gave us. It is just a small portion of what he knows. But he gave us enough knowledge to at least know how to have faith in Him even if we don't understand everything and why things are the way they are. If we knew everything then we would all probably choose to believe and follow God. But it's not that easy. God wanted to make sure that the people who chose to believe and trust Him would do it on their own and not because He forced them to. That's why we have free will. And besides, who are we to question God? He gave breathe and life to man and He has the very same power to take it away whether we like it or not. Everything that you see on earth: cars, technology, gardens, etc, has to have a maker who designed it or someone who keeps order to it. Your car can't run forever if you don't put oil in it or gas. We wouldn't have the telephone or computer if someone wouldn't have invented it. Those are some simple examples that we have on this earth to understand God in a sense. But it doesn't hardly compare to who He really is. But God has left the choice for man to either believe in Him and trust that He knows best because He made us so why wouldn't He be the one to know everything about us? And He also gave man the freedom to choose to reject Him if they will to. So the choice is yours. You have to find God on your own. No one can do it for you. You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink. I hope that even if you don't believe in God that you at least give Him a chance. Have you ever asked Him reveal Himself to you? Sometimes people don't need a sign or miracle to believe. It's just something they can naturally do. But some people want more proof and I believe that God will give it to them if He so chooses and if they are really serious about wanted to seek God out. The choice is yours. I hope that you will find the hope to not give up on the possibility that there could be a God because He will never give up on you or forsake you like some people have in your life now or in the future.

People pose these questions like there is some unilateral, undeniable proof of God.

It is about as valid as one coming back to you and saying; "Ok, prove that God doesn't exist".

Could you? Without any shadow of a doubt that is?

Right.....no....you couldn't. What is the proof going to do for you? You will suddenly say, "OH....ok....well then, I will now believe in God".

No.....you won't. Does God exist? Absolutely! If I told you that I work as a physicist would you believe me? Maybe? Yes? No? If I began telling you things that, in your mind and education and experience led you to think that the only way I could be telling you these things would be if I was either telling you the truth, or, you'd probably try and find which method I was using to trick you. So you would go on and on and give me test after test after test to prove myself. Each time you may say to yourself......ahh....he has a web of elaborate props set up to 'convince' me that he is a physicist, but he probably really isn't.

At some point you would have to rely on my word, and if all my 'proof' was in this forum, exchanging notes back and forth, you would HAVE to accept my word. You'd have no choice. You would have to put forth a little faith in what I have told you, how I expressed myself and other queues that would be indicative of what a physicist would be like, again, based on your background, personality and experience.

I have no intentions of trying to carve out some argument for you to convince you of anything. Only God can save people. Man cannot save man. Jesus already did that. He came here and did what He needed to do and He left. All the proof was given. All the signs were given. It was recorded and been since passed down. If you are in an algebra class and your teacher/professor explains the steps in a proof for you, say.......where the quadratic formula comes from, you would either believe it or you would not. Having them re-prove it would not help you. If you didn't believe it the first time, then what would seeing it again accomplish? lol....pretty much nothing.

The Lord didn't do a half-baked job when He was here. His work was completed in full. All the so-called signs you may hear about about people seeing the virgin Mary on a piece of toast is bunk. Those are deceptions of Satan. Jesus said there would be no more proof given. He said it Himself. He came here, He raised people from the dead, healed people, performed acts that no one else could ever do.....miracles man. Think about this, if His work was not complete after He was done here, then that means His work was incomplete, and that He did not accomplish what He came here for. That He made a mistake, which isn't possible. His work was complete, and no more proof of His existence needs to be, or will ever be given, so all those images of the virgin Mary and so on are deceits by Satan to sway people into believing falsehoods....idolatry, which will grant you a one way ticket to the SOUTH of heaven. Don't pass go, and you no collect any cashola buddy-boy.

So, until you begin to accept the idea of faith and start reading a good bible, and going to a good church. One that teaches (preaches) from the bible, and about Jesus and allows the parishioners to carry their own bibles to church, you will be robbing yourself. You will be falsely limiting yourself to only part of the story. If that is what you wish to do, that is your business, but some day you WILL die. Jesus clearly says that if you deny him here before man, He will deny you before the Father. Those last minutes of your life will be terrible either in this realization, or soon after when you slip away from this world and are standing before Jesus, at which time it's too late. No more chances, no reprieves....nothing. You will be cast away and there is nothing you or anyone will ever be able to do about it. Your chances are now....not then. You lose so much by keeping Jesus away, and everything to gain by allowing Him into your heart. It's a win-win situation. You have not had the right people to tell you about Jesus and how to read the bible. I had the benefit of a marvelous angel of a person share what he learned and knows with me. Enough to get me started reading on my own and then have the freedom to ask questions. There is more mystique about this than anything else on our planet...well, with the single exception which is; why George Bush's staff does not tell that clown how to pronounce the word "Nuclear"!

Anyway, we go thru our life and make decisions. there ARE consequences to our actions. Dying is no different. When Jesus is all you will have at the time you die and you did not know Him here, you will not have Him 'there'.

Can an earthly proof really 'prove' that which is not of this world? That which is perfect? Uhhhhhh...............no.

Go get a bible, and/or talk to your friends. Good luck.
