Well Jehovah Witnesses are technically not Christian-they are considered a cult by Christian denominations. However, I do know of a group of believers who are not Jewish but believe in living like the Jewish people. They believe that Christ is the Messiah. I forget what they call themselves. They don't celebrate Christmas because Dec 25 is not the true birth date of Christ. They believe it is an abomination to celebrate Christ's birthday on the day that used to be a pagan holiday during Roman times.
They don't celebrate Easter too even though they believe Christ rose from the dead after being crucified. They tend to celebrate Jewish holidays even though they are not Jewish. As for Halloween they don't celebrate that either nor do I. It's an evil holiday let the witches and Satanists have their day. Christians should have no part in it. Not even for fun.

Jehovah's Witnesses follow a scripture which states (and I'm paraphrasing here) that no day should be held above any other. Most do not celebrate any day, be it what many consider a holy day (Easter, Christmas, ect.) or personal celebrations such as birthdays or anniversaries. Some individual churches of other denominations also follow this rule; the Church of Christ does teach about this scripture, but some follow it while others don't.

True, Jehovah's Witnesses do not celebrate Christmas. If you do some research you will find that Christ was not actually born on December the 25th, or even in December for that matter, although that is not the reason that they do not celebrate it. We are not told in the bible, (any translation) to celebrate his birth, rather only his death, for his death is actually what gives us the ability to look forward to salvation, we should celebrate the sacrifice he made for us. Christmas is based on a nice idea, but it is really very commercialized and hypocritical, not something that represents true Christianity very well, at least not in my opinion.

Mine does not. Since we know that the roots of Christmas are actually pagan, as well as the roots of Easter and other "Christian" holidays, we don't celebrate it. I'm not sure what to name my religion. We believe in the Bible, and, because of the Bible, we do things that may not be considered the norm, such as abstaining from unclean meats and keeping the Sabbath. There is ample evidence, however, for both in the Bible, so I don't care about that.

Most Jehova's Witnesses don't celebrate Christmas or Halloween, according to what I was told. There was a girl of that denomination in my 2nd grade class and her parents forbade her to participate in school parties.

The TRUE CHRISTIANS are not part of any particular denomination and many do not attend or belong to any Church.

Most True Christians do not celebrate pagan holidays.

All of them, Jesus was not born on the 25th of december, more like september or october. After he was baptized he lived 3 and a half years, if he died on the passover, take or add 6 months to that and you will get his approximate birth, as he was baptized at the age of 30.

The shepherds would not be standing in the fields at night with their flock on the 25th of december, think about it, one of the coldest times of the year.

Many many sun gods were born on the 25th of december, God tells us not to follow the gods of the heathen, so Christians won't. Besides, on the 25th its always about santa, and not Jesus anyway. Why in revelation 2 does God look down on the Nicolations? did you know that the Nicolatians believed in Saint Nicolas who rode in a slay and gave out gifts on the 25th of december? and could tell who was bad or good?

Anyway God bless, hope this helps!!!

Its an individual thing. Some of our holidays were put in place over other holidays that we did not agree with. So some then that the holiday was polluted and should not be celebrated as some believe. Case in point would be halloween and All Saints Day.
