A psychologist is more interesting. Some psychiatrists actually do therapy, too while others strictly do medication. They're actually MD's. A psychologist is more like a therapist while a psychiatrist is more like a doctor....they (psychiatrists) also make more money. They both require a lot of school. Psychologists are PhD's and psychiatrists are MD's.

Well, different amounts of schooling.
Psychologist believe in talking out a problem through therapy. Psychiatrists believe in prescribing drugs. A Psychiatrist is a Medical Doctor. You will have to go to Medical School.

they are both doctors but psychiatrist are the only ones allowed to prescribe medicine not psychologist-
i saw you should become a psychologist b/c im studying psychology in college right now N its fun

Depends how long you want to go to school.
I'd go for the whole shebang---psychiatrist.
More school, but more prescriptive rights, also.
