I was taught that God was our Lord and Savior who sent down his only begotten son, Jesus Christ, to teach us how to live. But then, that's MY definition as well as my family's. God is whoever you believe to be the creator of the universe, I guess.

God is the one who spun the universe and galaxies and planets... to set all things into motion, to form all things from clay and water and the flame.
God is the architect of the eternal and the planner of the unknown.
When one views the crescent moon we can only see a small portion of the moon, yet the rest of the moon still exists.
Likewise, what we can understand now of God is only a small fragment.
God breathed life into every thing and caused all things to form while knowing thier end.
God is that still, small voice inside of yourself that tells you when something is bad, good or somewhere inbetween.
The tap on your shoulder... the chill on your back... the soothing warmth that comes after a disaster averted.
God is the bringer of Love and Hope to the universe... fill yourself with these things and you will see God's actions more and more in this life and prepare yourself for knowing Him wholly in the next.

God is the one people often forgets when they are very happy with their lives, however He is the one people cling into when they have problems... ironic isnt it? He is the Creator.. most people don't see His true value within us... without Him, there's no "us"..
