I used to be a member of sparkpeople, and I got used to tracking a lot of things, and it was pretty motivational. Now, I wanna do this on my own. I don't wanna track calories, and I don't exercise much. I'd like to know what kinds of things I can track. I'm using excel, and so far I have my weight, measurements, number of situps, and I have goals on there too.

Does anyone else have any ideas on what I could track? Other than food... and mins of exercise/miles/water intake/etc?

Thanks in advance. :-)

Track your BMI. You can find out how to calculate it based on your height and weight anywhere on the web.

If you buy a special scale it will help you track your water weight versus total weight. Also track your fat amount with calipers.

Also -- try not to track everything too closely, enjoy life.

Tracking is a terrific way to go. There are others things that you could track.

1. You energy level. This will tell you how the food the day before affects your body.

2. How good is your sleep

3. If you over eat what was your trigger.

4. Is your skin looking better, the same or not as good.

5. Is your hair as shiny as it usually is?

All of these questions and snaswers will give you an idea of how your body is doing all around. They are things that you usually don't think of but so make a big difference in your life and they way you feel.

Think up more things that you really care about or means something to you. You could also track to see if you get crabby, when your diet is too low in calories.

Feelings will tell you as much about yourself as numbers will.

the fact is you have have been given to inspire your self - be your guy or woman drill sergeant! the way I parent it, if i'm attempting incredibly difficult for even 2 days straight away and workout consultation difficult on the well-being center i'm unlikely to pass and blow all that away with one binge-fest - i've got worked too rattling difficult for it - in any different case what grew to become into the factor of slaving away on the cardio machines?! Its sturdy to no longer permit your self down and take a examine out and extra effective your workout consultation circumstances and stages. a chum of mine keeps a table with info of each and every well-being center workout consultation or run etc and then each and every time tries to extra effective her score! I decide to easily ask myself 'what do you go with' - in case you go with the perfect physique badly adequate you will get it!

Don't forget to list your exercise for the day - type, length, and intensity. You may also want to list how you felt that day. If you are sick or run down, it will affect your exercise intensity level.
