Tell her youre just going as friends cause noone else will go with him, and youre just trying to save him from the humiliation of going by himself to the homecoming dance when everyone else will have someone with them, that should work out well.

My mom is the same way, I already have had more than 8 bfs though, LOL. Anyway, gain her trust. Make her know that if she lets u go that u will not be stupid enough to have sex with him. Make her trust you. Tell her that he asked you out and that you really like him and that she can trust you because she raised you well. Hope it helps. Good Luck

R the 2 of you the same age? that might put a RED FLAG UP:. what house work is there to do if you can fine S-thing more to do then that might help ur mom, in letting you go, is there going tobe other mother fathers going that ur mom might know, or would ur mom feel better if she went with, it might sound not right, but theres ways into working it... GOOD LUCK...

there are 2 choices you can take which are totally up to you:
1. Tell her the truth and tell her that you are mature and old enough to have a boyfriend and deal with the consequences and go.
OR
2. Tell her that he is one of your best friends and it would mean a lot to him if you went and that you MUST go.

hmm...try telling the truth...but change the day...like if it was next Friday say it is this one...and see how she reacts....and if by some miracle she says yes...tell her that u misunderstood or she misunderstood and it's next Friday
in case she says no..u have one more week...and now you have to tell a little lie so she would let you go....tell her that I'll sleep at ur best friend's house or something
or if u have an older brother or sis...that u go out with them ( in case ur brother/sis agrees with this)
good luck

First of all,,,you don't say how old you are??? That may be the reason she won't let you go and I would have to agree if you are too young.

See if she'll let you go if she or an older sibling or relative is there as a chaperone.
