We as Christians must always keep our trust in God; no matter how bad things may seem to be. For He is the only One who can ever really help us. The devil is always going to attempt to make things bad for us, as long as we live on this earth. And if we do not keep trusting in God, the devil is capable of getting us awfully discouraged. I have no idea what the tickets were for that you received, but if they were given to you unjustly, and you are innocent, God will be on your side; and He will work things out for your good. He is much greater than the police officers and the judges. He is the real judge! If you realize that have made mistakes; such as driving too fast, or whatever the situation may be; just ask God to forgive you, and you are forgiven, and try to be more careful not to make the same mistakes again. But we all are expected to obey the laws which we live under, unless they are laws which cause us to have to surrender unto man, instead of God. Just keep looking up; for Jesus is coming soon; very soon. I know this, first of all, because the things which the Bible tells us will be fulfilled in the last days, have been fulfilled. And second, I know this because Jesus personally spoke these exact words to me a while back. So we won't have to put up with the conditions which we face on this earth for much longer; if we are truly children of God. So don't get discouraged. Jesus is coming soon!

Michelle; remember Job in the Bible. He was a very wealthy Oriental man according to Job chapter 1 versus 2 & 3...However, satan said to God that the only reason Job served him was because of the material wealth he had been blessed with by God. Job proved satan to be the liar that he is by the fact that even though God allowed satan to persucute Job to prove a point; Job never stopped believeing in and serving God. The same still holds true for us today; no matter how things may seem to be continue to hold on to your integrity and rely upon God as stated in the Bible.....Best wishes to you and your new endeavors.......................

As Christians we can all understand this cycle we live here on earth.

This is the best story I have ever heard to help explain this.

God only tests his own. So you will either be in the middle of a test, just coming out of a test, or headed smack dab into one.

I remember (at least try to) to thank God for the tests, because it reminds me that I really am his.

I say the bad things in this life aren't really "bad". If everything happens for a reason, then evrything we consider "bad" is really something God is using to build up our character. Perhaps this is God's way of telling you the new life you're about to start is going to have unexpected situations or that you're new life isn't going to be easy. When is Life ever easy? He's probably telling you that as long as you keep clinging to him, keeping your eyes caught on him, there isn't a "bad" in the world that will pull you down and keep you down.

yes..I know what you mean...it seems like every time we get one step ahead , we get knocked back two...but you know what...I can honestly say that I have never had God let me down...things may not have worked out the way I would have wanted or the way I would done it...but they always worked out...so keep trusting in God and yes it is hard but He is our way maker and he will make a way for you where there seems to be no other way.....just continue to pray and not give up....God Bless

We all know what you mean. St. Theresa of Avila said it best when the cart she was riding in tipped into the mud --She looked up to Heaven and said "Lord, if this is how you treat your friends , no wonder you have so few."
Yes, fight the good fight--finish the race. Pray for Mother Mary's intercession.

lol hon, I'm in Houston too .... my advice is, STOP SPEEDING! You didn't get those tickets for any other reason than you were doing something wrong. You can call on God all you want to, but if you refuse to follow the law, you are STILL going to get a ticket!!!!

LOL

[2:155] We will surely test you through some fear, hunger, and loss of money, lives, and crops. Give good news to the steadfast.*

[2:156] When an affliction befalls them, they say, "We belong to GOD, and to Him we are returning."

[2:157] These have deserved blessings from their Lord and mercy. These are the guided ones.

Keep up the faith, soon you will be victorious.

Absolutely you have to keep the faith. It is commonly thought that when you have things going so good then things suddenly shift, it is the devil trying to shake your faith. Seems he thinks if he can make you question why God is doing these things to you then you will leave yourself open for him to enter the tiny little crack you left. Stick with God and stay on track and God will prove His faithfulness.

Balance. You need some negative to balance out the positive. That's how life works, and why I accept the teachings of Buddha and Jesus both.
