No more than a 60 year old man and a 35 year old women dating. Age has nothing to do with it as long as everyone is the legal age. That is all that matters. People connect in different ways now a days. No harm in it what so ever. Sam

I think there are situtations where this would be acceptable, but generally this is a bad idea.
The reason is that both people are at totally different states physically and mentally. She's probably still in school or just looking for a job, while he's already 17 years ahead of her. One of you is going to feel like you don't measure up (perhaps he doesn't feel young enough or she feels inexperienced) which adds more stress to the relationship than if both partners are nearer in age. Especially if she's 18. This is a huge time for her to be learning about the world, exploring colleges, and making important decisions for the future. Even with a caring, sensitive boyfriend she will still have trouble creating her own life with someone so much older.

Yes, Yes, Yes........It is bordering on Child Rape. An 18 year old doesn't know anything. It is the responsibilty of the true adult ( hopefully the 35 year old) to take responsibility of the situation. Relationships are hard enough without adding another hurtle to get over.

17 years apart?
well let's put it this way.
How about a 35 year old woman dating an 18 year old guy?
well it could be easily her son or her son's friend.
but I guess it's all about chemistry
I think you can't control it.
