There is a very excellent book called
Old Turtle by Douglas Wood
the Buddhists liked it so much they paid to translate it into their native languages it is about peace and strife resolving it. Very good book I saw him tell the story at a reading festival at Eckerd College in St. Petersburg Florida when I was working on my teaching degree
The paintings are excellent. I think it is an excellent book to teach children about many things and the paintings are excellent. It is not inexpensive but it is possibly more for an older child but the lesson learned in it would be good to teach when they are younger as they build their minds starting at a young age.
I bought it while in college and did not blink an eye though I was very impoverished. The paintings are exquisite and the story is incredible. I really do like it and need to read it to the kids. I got it signed by him also let me see if I can find it somewhere on the internet.

Might be at Yahoo auctions sometimes they say they have it at Amazon but it is not available. Good prices for this I paid about 17 for it over 15 years ago when it first came out.

The Rainbow Fish by Marcus Pfister is a great book that is very very buddhists, without being "Buddhist" by category. The book teaches equality, true happiness, meditation, etc... In the book the rainbow fish has lots of rainbow scales. the other fish always ask him for just one, but he says no and is therefor lonely, even though he's the most beautiful fish.. Eventually he goes way down to a cave at the bottom of the sea (meditation) where an octopus, who knew he was coming because "the waves told him", tells the rainbow fish to give his scales away. Of course, there's a happy ending.

Dr. De Soto by William Steig is a great book about true compassion. Dr. De Soto is a mouse dentist who can't turn away a fox with a toothache. The fox wants to eat him, but he helps the fox anyway, meanwhile, bringing out the best in the Dr. It really is a great book.

I used to be a preschool teacher, and I can tell you that is was a pleasure reading these books to the kids. They loved them.

Sorry I do not know of any baby Buddhist books, but I take it that you may be interested in Buddhism. If you could take it as far as it goes, you yourself may enjoy reading the "Concept of Rational Spirituality" on the Dhaxem website.

I'm not too sure if this is what you are looking for but this is what I could find on amazon.

http://www.amazon.com/Kindness-Treasury-Buddhist-Children-Parents/dp/091005567X/sr=1-2/qid=1159061009/ref=pd_bbs_2/102-4217659-5628967?ie=UTF8&s=books

And many more...I thought this was the best book for a baby or young child.

Here is the search.

Hope this helps. Good luck!

It's possible to spend plenty of time and income searching for approaches to train your kids how to read and enhance their reading skills. Is difficult to show a tiny child how to learn, and even tempting them to see is a challenge in itself. But it does not need to be this way as you got the help of this system https://tr.im/MOdQb , Children Learning Reading program.
With Children Learning Reading you may show your youngster how to separate your lives seems and separate words in to phonemes, an essential thing when your kid is simply learning to spell.
The examining system from Children Learning Reading program makes it simple for children to see quickly and properly, from simple words to sentences till they learn to learn stories.
