True. Without obstacles to get around you would never learn how to think for yourself. If there were no mountains to climb, you would not have the ability to survey the beauty from it's summit. Trials help you grow and become stronger. The path of least resistance is the pathway to hell.

False. A "path with no obstacles" just might not lead where you want to go, or where society wants you to go, but could easily lead somewhere...perhaps even somewhere great. This is all assuming that going "nowhere" is a bad idea...an idea which is debatable itself.

I would have to say true. We can either face obstacles as "stepping stones" or "stumbling blocks". When we face a problem head on and work on fixing it, we end up with stronger self confidence, self esteem, and courage. Then we can tackle other "obstacles" in life more effectively.
