It depends what you mean by fun active. Dancing, Ghost tours i would like that but thats just me, go karting, we have indoor rock climbing where i live, pub crawl, pole dancing lessons, i would like to do that but be careful this does not appeal to all and could be taken as an insult. It depends what you both are interested in. Go to a comedy club

You could walk to dinner and take in the city lights. In my town, there are many hills and stairways that are great for watching the sun set or city's lights. (Well, there's no sunset for us tonight, it's too foggy). If it's a full-moon you could do an easy hike. Putt-putt? Drive those little cars? Walk the beach? If you have a good safe (poo-free) field and a glow-in-the-dark frisbee you could play frisbee.

Bowling, roller skating, dining out, seeing a good movie, having friends over for a BBQ. Why not ask your date what "fun" means to him/her and go from there? You could make a list of fun things to do - and attack that list.

Haunted hay ride, bowling, go to the water, beach,lake etc...bring a blanky though, kinda chilly, go shoot pool, those little race car thingys, lot's of stuff.
