I agree with the others about First Premier - they would give your goldfish a credit card if the fish would pay all of the outrageous fees that are required.

You would be better off with an Orchard to start with, even if you have to get a secured card.

Orchard Bank, HSBC and Bank of America all have card selectors on their websites. The card selectors do not pull hard inquirys "unless" you apply for a recommended card. Keep in mind that even if a card is recommended, that is no guarantee that it will be approved.

You might try the card selectors and see what they offer.

"First Premier" are legalized loan sharks and they will take practically anyone. But bear in mind, you will get a card with a $200 limit and they will jack you around for about $170 worth of 'fees' ...and so in the end, all you'll "get" is about $30.

If your credit is THAT bad, try a secured card and work at raising your credit score.

I am not sure what Orchard's cut off is.. but I'd try them before I went to First Premier. At least all Orchard charged me was a $39 annual fee and 18.9% rate. I don't use their card anymore, even though the account is "open", I paid off the account, cut up the card and no longer use it.

Hope that helps.
