You will have a worse night than she children are tough little people, you can give her something for the pain, whatever the Dr. recommended, and that will also help make her tired, if she has a big stuffed animal I would let her sleep with it, if she is upset you could take the stuffed Animal's arm and wrap it in a strip of colored fabric so they both have a "bo-bo". Try not to worry to much, my youngest was very active and clumsey she fractured her arm the night before her second birthday.

Tylenol switch off with Motrin for pain... You can switch and do one every two hours (make sure you don't do two of the same in a row)... Try and get her attention on other things reading, some educational t.v., if its not her dominant hand coloring or writing. Try not to spend too much time focused on it.
I was 3.5 when I got a cast on my broken arm... I also go chicken pocks.... itchy icky.

A fracture is bascially a small break...not a complete break of the bone, sort of like when you scrape your knee rather than actually cut it open. If she is in pain give her tylenol, but other than that she will be fine

A fracture is a break. They just meant that she doesn't need a cast.
Ice might help (not just for pain, the novelty is also good).

aww, poor thing.
rock her, read her a lot of books, sing silly songs, buy her a fun movie, and maybe call the doctor to see what pain relievers you can give her to so she can sleep more comfortably.

give her whatever meds they recommended; when my 6 year old broke her wrist they recommended motrin more than tylenol for pain.
