You may have an exposed nerve if you are in pain. If you cannot see a dentist for a while, please go to your local pharmacy and pick up a temporary filling you can put in your tooth yourself.
It's not a solution - just a temporary one till you get to the dentist.

Two weeks shouldn't make any difference, but if you keep putting it off you could be in for a root canal, so if it quits hurting don't ignore it.

You have to be very careful while eating.
Avoid hot and cold drinks and hard food items.
Keep a pain killer pill ready.

the longer you wait, the bigger the cavity, the worse your tooth is going to get. so i suggest you get it filled asap!
