I usually go for the skinny, pale shy type when I'm looking for a guy, but looks don't matter all that much to me. The guy has to be smart, and usually I get along better with guys that are shy. I like guys are into poetry, reading, anime, music, etc. If a guy is deeply passionate about ANYTHING, if he really knows what he wants out of life, then he's my kind of guy. I like guys who are polite, old-fashioned, sweet, but with a bit of a dirty, kinky mind at the same time. I want a guy who is open enough with me to say, "Oh, he/she is really hot." I don't want a guy who cheats on me, but if I'm dating a guy and he says, "Can I kiss (insert name here)?" I'll say, "Yeah, sure!" and be completely cool with it. I mean, the guy is dating me, right? What do I care if he kisses someone else? I want a guy with no shame, who can speak his mind and not really give a damn whether I like it or not. I want a guy who smiles alot, and who has a nice laugh. I want a guy who spouts off poetry to me, is that pathetic or what? I want a guy who doesn't really give a **** what anyone else thinks of him. I like a guy who can be into Gilbert and Sullivan, or Superman or something everyone thinks is really stupid and not care, and still openly admit to liking it. I like guys who are okay with the fact that I am a total freak of nature. I want a guy who is a romantic at heart like me, btu I don't want a guy to waste all of his time on me. I want a guy who has his own dreams, and would be willing to leave me for his dreams, just because I think dreams should come first before just some passing fancy towards a girl.

Intelligence and sense of humor are non-negotiable. You have to be able to carry on a conversation with me and make me laugh without trying too hard. I prefer liberals, however I would not turn someone down based on their political beliefs, unless they were a neo-Nazi or something extreme like that. They cannot be too religious, because I do not believe in organized religion and it would not work. I also prefer men to be able to support themselves, I am 23 and although a lot of men my age are still in school or living at home, they need to be doing SOMETHING with their lives.
As far as looks go, I prefer darker men, but I do not turn people down for having blonde hair or blue eyes. I prefer men to be a little on the thick side...skinny guys just don't do it for me. I find facial hair and a moderate amount of body hair to be sexy. They should be healthy, but not overly fit.
They can't be dramatic or into fighting and excessive drinking. Guys without criminal records are a plus, and guys with GOOD tattoos (not tribal or chinese bs) are a plus too.

What I look for in a guy is someone who is: nice, caring, loving, genital, has a good head on his shoulders, has something planed for him in his life, and most of all compassionate and easy to get along with, and if a argument was to occur work it out don't walk away.

A big you know what, and willing to let me do what ever i want. He also has to have a good job, and when he comes home from work I want him to work around the house as well.

Someone that is genuine, smart, polite, well groomed, stable, loving, fun and caring. I want someone who want to get to know me and be with me forever. Someone that knows me so well that he can read my mind. Someone that can provide for me and sometimes spoil me. That's what I look for in a guy.

personality and a guy that we can count on. if we are upset, we need a shoulder to cry on. a guy who makes us feel good about ourselves. why do u want 2 know anyways?
