i dont understand the current war. whats going on and why?

i know its a "war on terrorism" but is it revenge for 9/11? or a war on oil? or a war just for the **** of it? im confused

The current war is being conducted under false pretences.
The real reasons are to further the agenda of the New World Order, which is to take control of the whole planet, and to eliminate half of its population.

This war is about fighting the terrorists, wherever they are
and especially finding and bringing to justice bin Laden. It
is also about helping Iraq become a land of freedom where
they've been depressed for so many years by Saddam
Husseun. Saddam has been found and removed from Iraq.
Now we help them keep terrorists from taking over Iraq so
they can have freedom and live in peace. I think it's all worth
fighting over. We can't keep letting terrorists come to the
US and murdering 3000 people at a time. Hope you're not so
confused now. Nobody likes war, believe me; even President
and Mrs. Bush but at least he's not a wimp waving the white
flag and saying I don't know what to do about it but let terrorists
take over all the other countries and then overtaking US.

Terrorists have declared war on the western world. They want Americans and the Jews dead. President Bush decided we cannot afford to let these people run around in the world anymore. We took out the Taliban in Afghanistan because they harbored terrorists. We took out Saddam Hussein in Iraq because of a variety of reasons. The best being that he ignored an agreement we had with him after the Gulf War in the 1990's. He was required to allow UN weapon inspectors in to see if he was making chemical or biological weapons. He refused. The US used force. We could not wait for him to get a nuke.

If the Iraq thing is a war for oil, we could have avoided it by drilling for it in America. There is a lot of it in ANWAR in Alaska. Most states refuse to allow drilling off its coast.

We invaded and ocupied a weakly defended country on the basis of lies and false pretexts - My guess is this was empire building and focused on the access to Middle Eastern oil.
