Most people have only a vague idea of heaven. Some lightheartedly speak of “pie in the sky when you die.” But what does the Bible say? Its very first verse says: “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.” (Genesis 1:1) This refers to the physical heavens, the glorious array of stars and galaxies. (Deuteronomy 4:19) But there are also spiritual heavens. Thus, the Bible speaks of Jehovah’s “lofty abode of holiness and beauty.”—Isaiah 63:15.
Who was the first to ascend to this “lofty abode” of our heavenly Father? His beloved Son, Jesus Christ. He said: “No man has ascended into heaven but he that descended from heaven, the Son of man.” (John 3:13) This clearly shows that no human creatures had gone to heaven. But Jesus promised that some humans would go there. Just before he ascended to heaven, he said to his faithful disciples: “I am going my way to prepare a place for you . . . and will receive you home to myself, that where I am you also may be.”—John 14:2, 3.
Obviously, then, some good people go to heaven. But do all good people go to heaven? What about man’s home—the earth? Is it to be destroyed by nuclear war to become a burned cinder floating in space? Definitely not. The Bible says: “A generation is going, and a generation is coming; but the earth is standing even to time indefinite.” (Ecclesiastes 1:4) And why should the Creator destroy this beautiful earth, even though parts of it have been polluted by selfish people? God’s Word promises: “The righteous themselves will possess the earth, and they will reside forever upon it.”—Psalm 37:29.
Evidently, then, the earth has an interesting future. In his famous Sermon on the Mount, Jesus foretold: “Happy are the mild-tempered ones, since they will inherit the earth.” (Matthew 5:5) Moreover, the last Bible book, Revelation, indicates that the earth will become a paradise. Concerning obedient mankind, it says: “God himself will be with them. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore.”—Revelation 21:3, 4.
From the foregoing, it can be seen that some good people go to heaven, whereas others will enjoy life on earth.

Well no one really knows because we can't die and come back to tell. But in the bible it did say the streets are paved with gold but that's all that I know about. Even heaven has sin in it. If it didn't the devil wouldn't be alive, becaus he and 1/3 of the angels were kicked outta heaven. So that says that there IS still sin in heaven.

Heaven is much more than you can dream up, when you arrive, you'll see it's like earth, a lot bigger, gorgeous beautiful trees, mountains and streams, everything is alive, even the grains of sand on the bottom of the streams appear to be alive. The wonderful smell of God is everywhere, many wonderful fragrances. many smells of flowers, you can,t even smash the flowers as you walk on them, they sway through your legs, and as you pass the flowers they turn as if they can see you. You'll see the river of life, crystal clear drinking water. You never seen color till you get to heaven, some new colors, brighter colors. There's no brown leaf in heaven, no shadows, just light. no dust, so there's no cleaning. cat's, dog's, horses, all animals and some you never seen before. God don't lose babies, abortions, and all young children that died are there. Everyone that makes it to heaven has a home there, God said you can have the desires of your heart, and your cup runny over-God blessing you. God on his throne, you can see the light to where he sits for many a mile. music everywhere, singing, children singing walking with Jesus. Jesus is about 5' 11" to 6' tall you see the beautiful radiant colors emitting through Jesus clothes, Jesus chest looks like gemstones and diamonds. There's copper color fruit that you can eat, that would give you strength so you can withstand God's glory. The temperature is always comfortable, yet you see snow. The first person to greet you there is father Abraham. Familys going on picnics. There is learing, teaching, theres to much to explain, the intelligence with out all the fighting, not like on earth, is just incredible, it's to good to be true, but it is, it's heaven:)

That's exactly what the Jehovah witness picture out heaven: Lush green scenery, plenty of vegetation, humans living along with wild beasts peacefully, every one in their nice attire walking in the park happily.
Sorry. For me heaven is really nothing earthly, it's nothing sensory. It's more like a communion with the spirit/God and experiencing the great love and compassion.

heaven is eternal peace. the gates are gold and the Walls are made of marble, the poor have the biggest houses, and the rich have some that are not so big. ...Oh and when Jesus walks by the flowers turn to him and follow as if he was the sun. Don't think I'm a kook this is in the bible. I believe it is in genesis. but i/m not sure.

Nobody knows for sure, but many people have their ideas of what Heaven is like. I picture being in a place with no violence, pain, or sorrow. Each person can do what they want without fear of ridicule or threats. Complete happiness.

1Corinthians 2:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
Our feeble minds can not comprehend the glory of being in the presence of God. People have speculated for centuries about heaven.... but the word tells us plainly .... it hasnt even entered into the heart of man....... we cant even begin to imagine how wonderful it will be.

Sounds like you got a pretty good idea of what heaven is gonna be like biblically, I like that. I suggest reading a book called "Heaven" by Randy Alcorn, it gives the biblical view of what heaven is gonna be like.

However you want to picture it, it is just a place of imagination anyway, and doesn't exist in reality, a fiction created by some old guys a long long time ago to encourage people to not fret about their current hardships and to support the old guys in a good lifestyle.
