Well..... in Asian countries when chickens get "bird flu" massive numbers of chickens are killed to prevent spreading "bird flu".
I hope that is not what is going to happen to the cardinals......

there has been no recorded case of human infection with the bird flu virus in Europe, so it's silly to think that.
