http://www.hotwire.com/ (my top choice)
http://www.orbitz.com/
http://www.cheapfares.com/
http://www.travelocity.com/
I also reccomend yahoo travel, thats good too.

I have traveled a lot, and by experience I think going to the airline names( such as northwest, american airlines, etc.) it is a lot more expensive. So the websites above were the ones I always used whenever I traveled, and e-tickets are much more convenient. Hope this helps :)

so far the cheapest I have found was to go directly through Southwest Airlines. If you can get enough advanced notice, you can sometimes fly cross country for like 200 bux.

Expedia, travelocity and orbitz artwork. i ought to also advise that you bypass to the airways cyber web web site before you e book your trup because each so often the airline is more low-cost than the different places to e book flights.

Get your travel agent to search for you. You'll save more that way.

It depends on where you're located, I guess.

But if in Canada, try:

http://www.RedTag.ca/

If in UK:

try://www.globespan.com/

Other than that, http://www.flyzoom.com/ .
