I would probably go with the Acura or Nissan. It depends on what you want, how much room you need. Also consider, carefully, what condition the car is in and the mileage. Ask for the previous owner's ph #, call him/her and ask if there is/was anything wrong with the car, when was the oil changed and such. Just a quick conversation. go to Carsdirect.com and do a side by side comparison of the 5 cars.
being biased on this. if the Lancer was the EVO, then definetly go with the EVO. okay, so the EVO has no luxuries other than getting a steering wheel and seats :-P but you won't drive anything that fast and handles that good for under $60k........unless it's an STI.

They are different sizes, so you wil have to decide:\
Small ones: Mazda Protege or Ford Focus, we have that cars and they run forever.
Big ones: Altimas are very good.
