i live in cambridge ma, and was wonering if there was anyone out there to give any help on where to find sing ing lessons for opera music.

Look in a community college close to your house. Check if they have a Music department, if they do, talk with the voice teacher, if he/she is full I am pretty sure she/he will recommend you some one else.

You're right near Boston, which has some really good music schools. Contact the music departments of those schools to see if there are voice graduate students who teach. Or put a free ad in http://www.craigslist.com for the Boston area and ask if there are any voice teachers who are taking students. In my daughter's small college town, which has a college with a major music school, there are a lot of voice grad students there who are looking to make an income by giving voice lessons. Good luck.

For Opera , go to you local college, they have qualified teachers who usually take outside students, also, if there is a local music school.
As for the music you may be able to find it at the library for free use or at the local music store. A great web site to order from is Burt and Company
