If these paintings are on stretched artist canvas then just drive a nail in the wall and hook it under the top stretcher bar.

Use mirror mounts. Can be used with almost any wall mounting.
Many colors and sizes. Some have anchors attached-others use
small screws or small nails. Takes about two minutes to mount.
Fast. No drilling or fancy work involved.

wal-mart- k-mart- Lowes - home depot ect all carry mirror mounts.

and can be removed with in seconds if you want to take down or change location. Only leaves pin size hole.
