sister in law's wedding next weekend and my dress won't fit! I am a mom of 5 and just stopped nursing my youngest a few months ago. I know the weight will come off as I exercise and watch what I eat but I need some help RIGHT NOW! It's ok if it's just water, if it comes right back the week after, whatever, I will do what I have to do after the wedding, the right way, but for right now, I need some HONEST help! I'm not looking for a miracle cure just something you know might help get rid of some of the belly bulge? Please.

I bought a dress, my "goal dress" awhile ago and have been trying, the boobs are slowly going down but I don't really control them...I seem to be fluxuating in the belly though, bloated one day and down the next...if you know about setting a goal, buying something you dream about and work towards you'll understand

Workout as much as you can. Be inspired by watching "the Biggest Loser". I am awestruck by how much they can lose in such a short amount of time and by how hard they work out. Sometimes it is hard to find the time and if you cannot get to a gym try working out at home doing exercises around the house and walking or jogging around the home. You could take the kids to the park or playground and run around with them. Play catch or dodgeball or homemade games or frisbee or capture the flag.You might end up having soooo much fun that you will not even realize you are getting some exercise and the kids will love it too. Try to take care of yourself, cause you don't want to get sick and not enjoy the big event! Best wishes!
(PS- stay away from the kid's leftovers. that always seems to be my downfall )

I worked for the airlines and here's a trick that's not exactly healthy but it works. When there was going to be a weight inspection people would swallow some cotton balls at mealtimes. The cotton makes you feel full so you eat less plus your body burns body fat naturally just functioning. The cotton passes harmlessly through the digestive system and out. Drink lots of water. You don't want to become constipated.

Start now and cram for the test (so to speak)
get rid of all junk in your cabinets and refrigerator so there's nothing to tempt you.
exercise, drink lots of water and eat healthier (lots of vegetables, fruits, whole grains, fish, poultry)
eat smaller portions and lower calorie things
Come up with a backup plan if you don't lose as much as you want. Can you have the dress tailored? Can you go get another one? Can you borrow a dress from someone?

I know if sugar cravings are a problem drink a cup of 1/2 water 1/2 grape juice in the morning. It will balance out your sugar level and cut on snacking. GOOD LUCK.

I lose weight quickly (albeit temporarily) by drinking those low carb yogurt smoothies, and eating those pre-made salad kits you can get at the grocery store. I eat the whole bag too...like, one bag for lunch and one for dinner. They have them in Caesar (regular and lite) or BLT or Asian etc...Don't drink pop with a lot of sodium in it and sweeten coffee/tea etc...with sugar substitute.
