tell the guy that i like him more than just a friend? How can i be sure he likes me too? Cuz i think he does, but not totally sure. How should i tell him? Thanks in advance!

we play basketball, we talked for almost two hours one time while we were playing bb, we ask questions about school, friends, cars and stuff like that. He usually says at least hi to me, when i see him and i have caught him more than once looking in my direction, but when he sees that i see him, he looks away rather quickly. Some of my friends say they are pretty sure he likes me. But, i am not 100% sure, i think so. TIA!

The fact that your friends make it easier. A big clue whether he likes you or not is how he acts around you, do you catch him staring at you longer than normal. Do you spend alot of time together.
You seem to have a hint that he may like you. I would ask him out somewhere, tell him that you want to talk to him. That you have wanted to ask him out for a while but you werent sure if he felt the same way, and see what he says
Or you could be slightly more direct and when your alone together, get really close to him, look into his eyes and go to kiss him on cheek or lips if he responds then of course he likes you. Im too much of a chicken though i would just ask him out somewhere and tell him you like him. Or if that is to embarrassing face to face phone him or text him.
Just go for it, you'll not lose him as a friend but you may gain him as a boyfriend so what have you got to lose

I personnaly like that direct approach. So envite him over for dinner and tell him at desert that you are really starting to care for him and wondered if he might want to go to the next level. P.S. be sure you can specify what you want the next level to be.

Honesty is always the best policy. You're going to find the more you date that it saves time and energy and heartache to just be upfront with what you're looking for in a relationship.

Just get on the subject of liking people and ask him if he has ever liked you, the answer should speak for itself.

go up to him at the end of the semester or end of the year if you want to wait that long that way if he doesn't like you like you like him it wont be so embaressing. or if your not the kind of girl to go up to him wait for him to ask you out!
