she dosen't really like the music I like and she dosen't like some clothes that I have. I want to know if it's right to act like her around her!

a lot of times i get the hang of being like a tomboy around her and i try not to wear girly clothes to her house. she is my cousin so i can't not be with her.

she does accept me though like I accept her. It's just that my ideas I think are always to girly and I just want to fit in and not wear girly clothes that she dosen't like. I don't know why I'm tempted to do so though!

Always be who you are. If you start now acting like someone who you are not to be accepted by people than that behavior will continue on in life around others. Stand for what you are inside and stay true to yourself. People will love you for YOU. That does not mean that you do not do some of the same things that they do, it just means that you can be well rounded and not compromise your basic self. Hope this helps.

Heck no! In life you will come across all sorts of people who may not be exactly like you but you love anyway. One of my best friends is a complete tomboy and I am a complete princess, and we still hang out and do things that we both like.

I think you should just be who you are. Just because she might be a tomboy doesn't you have to act like it around her. If you like being one then go ahead. You should decide, not us.

Be who you are around her so you will always have an honest relationship. People who are different can be friends and family. She should accept you for who you are just as you accept her.

No, it is wrong to be influenced by others likes and dislikes..
Be yourself,, pretending would only aggravate the sitution and could even hurt your relationship.
As a cousin, she should respect your choices as you should also respect hers.
