Ale,it costs me less to get drunk on the really good stuff,unlike that watered down lager.

Lagers... the extra time brewing really smooths out the taste, and the lower temps mean the beer is kept cold it's whole "life". My homebrews are all lagers (usually heavily malted)even though they are time consuming.

Depend on the whether, my mood, what I'm eating or have eaten, where I am. I've known both to be delicious and each to be preferable to the other at times, depending on these details.
