My three kids help with all of these tasks; the youngest is 9.

have her keep her room clean, wash or at least help with the dinner dishes,, feed the animals if you have any... pull the weeds out of the flower garden.... help do the washing... dust for you there are alot of things a 12 yr old can do... Its even fun if you just have them help you around the house that way they do not think they are doing everything by themselves... and your working together.. that way you can make sure they do it right and your spending time with each other... also your teaching them how to work with others that way when the get out in this crazy world they will know how to work as a team...Good luck

You can start by having them take out the trash, raking leaves, shoveling snow, doing their own laundry, cleaning their own room, washing dishes or loading/unloading the dishwasher, etc. Start a weekly calendar with something everyday. It's a good way to get them started being responsible for themselves.

old enought to do her own laundry and clean room, do dishes and even make dinner once in a while like once or twice a week. sit down with her and plan out a menu for the following week and let her chose her night and meal.

a good chor for a 12 year old can be sweeping washing the dishes mopping the floor taking out the trash.that's what they make me do.
