I totally agree and the beep thing is so loud. Exspecially with bluetooth available people should be aware of others. I am with you on this one fo show.

Personally, I think that anyone who uses a cell phone in a restaurant is an idiot. If they are so important to have to answer a call, then take it outside. Do not make other diners listen to your personal phone call.
How rude!
And Nextel, even worse!

I always turn mine off when driving or if eating in restaurants I step outside to answer the phone.
Personally I don't like using them, but they are company issued and my company specifies that I must respond to a call within a set time limit. There are emergency situations that demand immediate response termed as mission/business critical.
If a server goes offline, every second can cost the company millions of dollars in revenue and loss of future business.

My wife and I were at a waiting room in a doctors office and this guy was using that feature to talk to his financial consultant. He made the consultant go through what stocks made him money lately and how much he had invested. Since he had a considerable amount, the whole thing was basically him showing his *** in front of everyone there. What an idiot. I invest and do quite well myself, but to make sure everyone in the waiting room could hear was ignorant.

Dave,thank you!!!! IT IS. I am one of the few who will ask someone to get off the phone or tell them TMI,but when you do,they act all high and mighty. I was invited to listen in to some girl quarreling with her boyfriend on the frigging thing because he wasn't paying enough attention to her. I was pissed off and when she hung up,I was so mean to her...
