It walks on my feet and it sleeps with me. When it sleeps {on my bed} the breathing is quite normal as to a human.. Ocasionaly I see a elongated shadow. I have no fear and I call it buddy. When I say time for bed Buddy it usually comes. It is not destrctive in any way. Is this a gift from my Higher Power?

well I think if you ask buddy to leave and not return you will find out real fast exactly what it is.....I wouldn't be asking anything I don't know what it is to my bed......much less name it and talk to it....try asking it to leave and see what happens....then let us know and we may be able to help....maybe

this sounds more like sleep paralysis than spirit
sleep paralysis is a sleep condition that affects about 40 % of the population at some point in their life
a chemical is released at the point of sleep that paralysis our torso so that we do not act out our dreams.. and sometimes we awaken before it has worn off or dont fall asleep in time when it starts to take affect
it is often accompanied by hypnagogic state .. which induces a hallucinatory effect
people often report a presence in their room .. breathing .. tightness to the chest and difficulty breathing ... seeing shadows and hearing voices
it is nothing to worry about however it can be aided by your doctor

Ummm......... You might have a spirit in your apartment.... or you might need a Psyche evaluation. I strongly advise the latter.
If it turns out that you are mentally ok than you need to pray and ask God what you should do.
Pray and read the bible every night if it doesn't try to hurt you than just relax and go on with your life. There is no reason to get upset over something small. Just be careful and remain close to God and you should be ok
If it turns out that you are a bit blank in the head then just speak with a therapist and take any meds that are given to you as they are perscribed.

I am really interested if you are truly sincere.
I have a friend who swears a very similar thing happened to her, and followed her to two different apartments.
Sounds like a spirit to me, a haunting.......I would check into this with some sort of scientific association that deals with such things. Look it up on the Internet under "hauntings".
I would be terribly freighted if it happened to me. I am amazed at your calm. From what I have seen on tv about such things, it could be a dead relative or another person attached to your location.

Earth bound spirits go back to the places where they have the most memory. This just happens to be your apartment. I see no problem with sharing your space as long as it not harmful to you. People who see spirits are blessed because they are not closed to the outer limits. You are just the few chosen people who is blessed to see this. I can relate to you because I too see spirits. If you want try to find out the history of your apartment. Sometimes there are mysteries in the spirits life that have not been solved or maybe it is just memories of not letting go. Whatever the case is, this causes the spirit to be earthbound.

are you a christian? if so read these. These 2 scriptures confirm that each of us HAS an assigned angel, which watches over us. whether you acknowledge your angel or not...it is there! Now i do not know if this is what you are expierencing or not. these are cool scriptures about angels! HEB 1:14 Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation.
MT 18:10 Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven.

first, plead the blood of Jesus, the clean your house from top to bottom, get some olive oil and pray over it for you, your family, and whoever has come into your house to be protectected by the blood of Jesus then read aloud psalm 27,placing your name where appropiate. Everyday before you leave your house speak aloud the 91st psalm and everyday you enter your house say the 91st psalm. We are to live in the spirit not have them live with us , THIS IS NOT OF GOD! Be not afraid but read your bible and understand.

I dont think its a gift from a higher power. Its just a spirit. They live in other dimensions and we can see them sometimes. My ex has one that lives where he does but his experiences are not pleasant at all

I think its something you wish.. and seems real.
The scripture says not to communicate with 'the dead'.
If you could 'tap' into that spiritual world.. I doubt it would be the spirit it says it is.
Just my 2 cents.
