Actually, if the Christians are wrong and some other religion is right, surely they would be just as bad off as an atheist. If you were to decide that every religion ever believed in had an equal chance of being correct, wouldn't one single religion being correct have a chance of less than 1/100,000+?
Besides, you can logically disprove a belief (a belief that my phone rings every three minutes can be disproved), so really, since there is no proof of Christianity, is that proof of the opposite (just as my phone not ever ringing would be proof that it doesn't ring every three minutes). No proof of a god is equivalent of proof for the non-existence of a god.

whahahahah another person trying to convert us using Pascal's Wager.
How about this, if your god grants me eternal life because I simply choose to go through the motions, then he must not be so all-powerful to begin with.
And, how can you not logically disprove religions? The problem, is that the people that subscribe to those religions have allowed their belief in the supernatural to cloud what their mind sees as true.
Ever read 1984? You can count out 4 fingers, right? But if I insist that you are actually seeing 5 fingers, who is right? When the facts and evidence are laid out that show the bible does NOTHING to prove itself, and infact seems to prove that it is more a mess of loops and circles, the religious still refuse to accept that. ANd always revert to a couple of standfast easy-outs.
Either, god and free will, you have to believe, or they have the spirit and we don't.
It isn't that there is no logic to disprove religions, just the hungry people won't accept the logic.

This is the age old fire insurance of Pascal's wager, and it simply doesnt hold up. First of all, how would the hypocrisy be received by a god if I pretended to believe what my intellect and the evidence clearly tell me is false as an insurance policy against the possibility of hell? Secondly, believing a false proposition about the nature of life and its demands clearly has negative consequences. Many Christians trust prayer, annointing, in other words magic instead of medicine and die every day because of it. There are many other examples, but the most important point is that you cannot make an intellectual decision to have faith just in case. You believe or you don't.

the existence of the god could be answer by a very logical thinking of the 3 religion of god which is Islam, Christianity and juish. but the difference of these three religion that two of them had an intrusion of the human bean and that the true word of god was changed by humans , but the miracle of Islam is that no human has any addition to the true words of god . so a person should seek the true and explore the different believes and then chose the one that make sense.

There are many valid paths, but basically it's just two which contain all ways to the same destination.
Christians have a relationship with something... I perceive a light glowing about them. But I've never considered this path or any like it.
The other of the two paths contains some of the Eastern ways.
I could just have said: all points of view are right.

I am just so tired of this argument...
If that was the only reason I believed in Christ, that would be so completely meaningless. Why would he *want* a follower who was simply hedging her bets? I can't *make* myself believe something completely contrary to my beliefs just because it's safer. If Christians are wrong and I chose that path against my better judgement... I've wasted my life living a lie.

I'm not going to deceive myself into believing something i don't agree with because of 'fear'. That would be dishonest.

In Judaism the concept of hell is a purification process that everyone goes through when they die. Not only people that's from other religions. Christianity and Islam believes in eternal torture.

Islam has a concept of hell with a detail explanation. What if christians are correct? What if muslims are correct? What if buddhism is correct(they actually believe in many hells)? What if hinduism is correct? What if everybody is correct? What if everybody is wrong? What if GOD is humbly upset? What is geared for and can function for one person does not at all mean it is for the next person at all. To you be your religion and to me be mine. If you get forgiven in the hereafter, blessed be you. If I get forgiven in the hereafter, blessed be me. I will not walk your path and none shall walk mine. Where's the peace? Oh, here it is. PEACE!

Oh, but you are forgetting about RA, The Sun God.
If you don't accept Him, He will cast you into the Tomb of 10,000 Snakes!
Hell would be a "walk in the park" compared to being locked in a tomb with 10,000 snakes. I mean COME ON! Yikes! Snakes!!!
Why would YOU run the risk?

One disagreement: If Christians are wrong, there is something lost: your entire life, which you have devoted to a lie, instead of living it as intensely and free from guilt as many unbelievers are free to live it. That's just as much as you'd be missing if there is no god: your only and entire life.
