I hope so. Otherwise they are hipocrates and in the house of God no less.
God respects a true and open heart. Jacob wrestled with God and things turned out great for him.

There are tons of different denominations. It can take a while to find a church that works for you. Ours is a Free Methodist church, not they're all the same either. But, we have no dress code. Most of us wear t-shirts and jeans. Our band uses electric guitars and the pastor is known to use language you wouldn't expect a pastor to ever use, but he doesn't believe in being false in any area of his life if he can help it. He's not perfect, and he shares that with us a lot so that we know that we don't have to be either.
You need to find a place that can grow in faith, knowledge, and community if you want to. We have a long list of friends from church that we hang out with regularly outside of church. That's not required of course, it just tends to happen when you find the right place. There are a large number of people we could call at any hour of the night if we had a problem.
I hope you find a place that makes you happy. God bless.

It depends what church you go to. Some churches are really lively, and some are very quiet. All you need to know is that they preach Jesus. If they don't then leave and find one that does. There are churches out there that don't preach Jesus, and they preach what people want to hear. Not what the truth is. Read your Bible to know the truth. I take notes, and then I can go back over what the pastor preached. I can cross reference, and find out if he is preaching the truth. My Pastor does preach the truth, and it does step on peoples toes. That is the Holy Spirit that convicts a person. Some people get so angry at the Pastor for preaching the truth. That is between them and God.

You didn't say which church you were going to. However it is best to select a church that
1.believes in the bible
2. believes that Jesus is Lord and Saviour
3. believes that we are in the end times.
Lets hope that they will have a reverenceral attitude. There is no standard conduct beween protestant churches
You could find happy people singing joyfully to the top of their lungs
Oh well that is a tough question because there is such a variety.
GOD BLESS YOU IN THIS PERSUIT

It depends on where you go as to what you can expect.
There are some genuine Christians here in yahoo answers, but not all who claim to be Christians are.
A Christian is a person who has turned from their old ways, and repented of their past wrong doings. One who now wants to live for Jesus, and not follow their own path.

My sister recently converted and has a strange light I noticed another Christian at her church had. I can only conclude it must be their relationship with God.
I've never considered being a Christian, honestly not once. I recognize it as a valid path. Eastern paths are just to my liking. Not West.

Each church has its own identity, even if the denomination is the same. There are too many variables to make blanket statements of what people are like at church. But no matter, Christ is still present in that mess of humanity as He is present in the Word that is proclaimed.

Christians gather together in Church to pray and worship God. They listen to the readings of the Gospel and have a feeling of love and peace for one another.

Hopefully the church that you are going to go to will welcome you with open arms. My church is a very friendly church and the people their are believers in the Lord God and His son Jesus.
Our church wants to spread the Word of God, and let all the people know that He does care, and that He does love all of us.
Do yourself a favor though, don't judge this church on one visit, go for a few weeks, get to know the people and grow in your beliefs and grow with the church. God bless and enjoy tomorrow at church

OOOH!! I am so glad to see you haven't given up. They should be the most supportive people and least judgmental people you will ever know. You should feel very comfortable. If you don't you might want to look a bit more for a church.
I am so proud you are going forward with your journey. I know the other night you had questions. If you ever need someone to talk to (a Christian woman) please feel free to contact me.
GOOD LUCK!!
