Any addiction needs to be overcome by willpower. Decide you are not going to do something and then decide how you are not going to do it...
If you are addicted to porn then take away the thiungs that make it addictive. Do you live with someone? Make yourself accountable to someone you trust...give them the ability to confront you when you are doing something you think needs to be changed and you empower yourself to overcome whatever the obstacle...
Replace the time you use on your addiction with something else..dedicate yourself to not overreact when you slide a bit...take the time to not judge yourself for your actions but love yourself for who you are and who you wish to be...
Have you ever wondered why you are addicted? Is there a need that might be fulfilled in other ways?
We have never been given more than we can bear...I believe that you will overcome if you desire to do so...
God bless

How to avoid porn addiction on the Internet
1. Consider installing porn content filtering software( Strongly Recommend NetDog ,you can get it from www.netdogsoft.com ) on your computer. it will help to protect you from stumbling into pornography by accident, That's important.
2. Do not try to guess what the address of a Web page is. Many pornographic sites have similar addresses of respectable sites. For example www . whitehouse . com is a porn site. The real address is www. whitehouse . gov
3. Never click on Web site addresses that you receive in an unsolicited email.
4. Do not open attachments that come in email that are unsolicited.
5. Use filtered search engines or reputable directories to find the information you need.
6. Do not search for terms like girls. Think before you enter a search term.
Stick with reputable sites.
If something looks questionable, don't let curiosity get the best of you. Delete it or close the window.

Go to Sex Addicts Anonymous, get a sponsor, work the steps. You are addicted and need to take the steps to see that you are powerless over porn and your life has become unmangeable. You shouldn't even be on a computer right now, stay away from the access and the trigers. You can't count on your pastor, he's not a sex addict, and prayer alone won't do it. Good luck.

Pull out the plug.
Find a nice group where you can sign up to help someone or something less fortunate than yourself-meals on wheels, a homeless shelter, a dog pound, whatever interests you and you will have far less time on your hands for evil pursuits. Distraction will bring many benefits including a new understanding...you are not addicted to porno-you choose to pay attention to it rather than to something else.

I think just MODERATION is the answer. Anything extreme obsession is bad for your body and your emotion. Schedule your visit to the website, like ones a week, so then you will not feel guilty about having addiction. Being a Christian has nothing to do with it, you are only human & give no harm to no one but yourself.

Find a girl/guy who is a bigger freak than the ones you are watching, and she will not only help with the addiction, but probably join in on the festivities. Just as long as it is healthy for the two of you and that you are'nt hurting anyone, the need for you to do this will subside. Besides, would'nt you rather participate than watch? Your faith is your faith, and that should still remain a constant throughout this process. God made you who you are for a reason, you just have'nt figured it out yet. Neither have I.
