Most wouldn't, even though they say it.

I would take a bullet or anything else to save ANYONE'S life, regardless to if I would live or die--God's will is ALWAYS done in my life. Further, my life is not permanently confined to it's flesh, which will eventually die anyway.

It would be an honor and privilege to serve The Lord in that capacity!

Sure...I'd do that for anyone, not just because that someone happened to be the Pope.

This is, of course, assuming I'd live and recover....

Yeah, why not? But I'm not sure if I'd like to feel the pain of a bullet in me. Ouch!

no. why should I be the person to save him? he has gazillions of security people. Besides, he's a human, just like me. I bet he wouldn't take a bullet to save me.

nope, the pope's just another man, I would put him nowhere near the same level as my family/loved ones. . .I would take a bullet for them, no questions asked.

Not a chance the man is an idiot and obviously way too stupid for the position he is in (some of his comments have made that rather apparent)

I'd jump out of the bullet's way.

I would only risk my life to save my family.

Yes, my pain is a small thing when compared to a precious human life.

No, assuming I would live and recover is not good enough.
