Just wondering cannot decide which to get with for my family we have a 3 and 4 year old they like lots of cartoons and we like movies that they really cant watch. That and we want the best quality at the best dollar rate.

Satellite is definitely cheaper, and the channel lineup is comparable to cable. But the downfalls of satellite are the loss of signal during big storms, and you don't get local info like on the weather channel. You can get local broadcasts like ABC, NBC, CBS, etc. though.

I think its a toss up. Whats more important, price, or not loosing signal during storms.

Digital Cable less interference

I started out with the digital, they didn't carry the YES Network, so I went to dish, but everytime we had snow, wind or rain, the tv went out, so I went back to digital---haven't had any problems since.
