today around 11 am i got a sharp tightening pain in the center of my chest and around the bottom of my lung area i do have asthma and it didnt go away tll about 3 and it was so bad pain i couldnt walk without terrible pain it is slowing coming back again i took my puffers twice today (i cant take more than twice a day...) what should i do ( im home alone and cant get to the emerg) i dont have a car either...no one i know drives...HELP

You should call your doctor right away if the pain returns!!!! If you cannot call your doctor because it is weekend and/or after hours you should call 911 or an ambulance. There are many possibilities - for instance, if you are pregnant, you could be having hiatal hernia, acid reflux or diaphragm problems. Some problems may be very serious and others may not. You must take care of your self and your baby, so no one will be upset with you for using the emergency system if it turns out not to be a life threatening emergency. It is your job as a mommy-to-be to do what is necessary.
Also, puffers may not be the best thing for the baby, but it is not good for the baby to not get enough oxygen either - so the benefit of using them outway the risk. I used my inhalers during pregnancy as needed - tho not as much as 2 times every day - and my baby is 19 now.
